Sarawak have recorded one of their most impressive victories in the Malaysian Super League (MSL) by thrashing club-side Selangor PKNS 4-1 at the MPPJ Stadium on Saturday.
Selangor PKNS edged Sarawak to the pinnacle of last year’s Premier League table as both teams earned promotion to this season’s MSL. Both debutants has contrasting fortunes at the MSL with the Crocs having stamped their mark as a force to be reckoned with while PKNS got the label as a draw-specialist.
The emphatic win atoned Sarawak’s 2-4 lost to the same opponent at the same venue last year.
Sarawak’s victory was made more special as the team grappled with injuries and suspension. The Crocs were without five of their key players but it did little to deter them from recording the famous win.
